Hopkins Antique Mall

Are you just an appreciator or a packrat or just into history for sale? Whichever, you will love this den of antiquity; it’s a yellow brick road of rare finds, a collector’s dream-come-true, a history nut’s palace. The Hopkins Antique Mall is all those things and more. Owned, loved, collected, and then sold to someone else: there is a cycle of ownership. Intriguingly, the first owner may not derive the greatest pleasure, because subsequent owners are purchasing more than just things, but history too.

Hopkins Main Street  still appears the way it did one hundred years ago, just minus the horse and wagon. The architecture is beautifully restored. And the Hopkins Antique Mall is perfect-fit for a city first settled in 1852 and once referred to as the incorporated Village of West Minneapolis, to become a city named Hopkins in 1928.

If you are an appreciator or a packrat or just into history for sale, whichever, you will love this den of antiquity; it’s a yellow brick road of rare finds, a collector’s dream-come-true, a history nut’s palace: the Hopkins Antique Mall is all those things and more…

For vintage signs there’s an incredible selection, all in excellent condition. If you’re a Barbie Doll accumulator and many of us girls are still, there are dozens of original clothes, accessories and every Barbie and Ken lunch box, wardrobes, luggage, purses, furniture, you name it.

There are Presidential and sports memorabilia, vintage clothing including fur coats, china, stunning watches of all varieties, makes, colors, 45 RPM records, a superb and rare 1920’s record player, old newspapers, magazines from WW 2, the Kennedy Assassination, and shelves of rare books including some that are embossed and leather bound.

But that’s not all; there are baby carriages and doll beds, rocking horses, vintage sundries and bottle collections…the list is endless… a potpourri of collectables that covers two full floors of dealers, each dealer with a particular passion for an era and or certain types of products.

Quantity and quality is a match at the Hopkins Antique Mall, it’s so apparent these items were owned, loved, collected, and then sold to someone else who purchased them: a cycle of ownership. Intriguingly the first owner may not derive the greatest pleasure, because all the subsequent owners are purchasing more than just a thing, but history.
